But I’m too set in my ways to let go

I’ve waited so long
For a new song to come my way
This block has helped me through
I’m almost glad it ended cause something new is in my mind these days

Now it’s my turn to have fun
So I won’t write any more poetry

And scream at the top of my lungs
That the most painful sound
Is ‘I love you’ when you’re too young
